Belmont Tower and Balfour Flats offer student living right in the centre of the university campus and is ideally located within a few minutes鈥� walk of the university facilities and the city centre.

Belmont Tower and Balfour Flats offer similar accommodation and are the perfect location for being the centre of university life in Dundee. This accommodation is directly on campus which means you鈥檒l have the added benefits of being adjacent to the University sports hall, tennis courts, swimming pool, main library and Students鈥� Association.

Belmont Tower is made up of a four-bedroom flat and ten eight bedrooms flats; each with a fully equipped kitchen with separate dining area. Balfour Flats is adjacent to Belmont Tower and has two floors. Each floor has 13 bedrooms with two fully equipped kitchens per floor.

Bedrooms in Belmont Tower and Balfour Flats offer a spacious room with single bed and private en-suite bathroom in flats of either four, six, seven or eight students. Each bedroom benefits from a desk and plenty of storage. Our premier rooms have additional storage and a dressing area. All rooms have en-suite shower rooms.

In addition, the all-inclusive bills cover contents insurance, maintenance, security and聽 250Mb/s Wi-Fi, offering you peace of mind in your new home.

Belmont Tower and Balfour Flats are located in an ideal location for students at the University of Dundee. The residences are right in the heart of the campus and only a few minutes walk from all of the main campus teaching buildings.

Being on campus, residents will be able to make the most of everything the University has to offer. This includes the sports centre, Students Union, swimming pool, tennis courts, library and a mini-supermarket.

If that's not enough we are also located in the fashionable West End, right on the edge of the city centre. We have two theatres and a range of pubs, clubs and restaurants right on our doorstep.

Room types

Standard En-suite

Standard en-suite rooms are brilliant value and are fully furnished with a small double bed and en-suite bathroom.

Premier En-suite

Premier en- suite provide more space than the standard rooms and are fully furnished with a small double bed and en-suite bathroom.

Internet

The University provides a Wi-Fi service in all bedrooms and kitchen/lounges and there are also network connections in all bedrooms. These services provide full internet and email access plus access to all of the campus computing services, subject of course, to the University's acceptable use policy.

Cancellations

Your agreement with the University is for the full period and if you choose to move out before the end of the tenancy, or if your occupancy is terminated as a result of a breach of discipline, you will still be responsible for paying your rent up until the end of your tenancy. However, if a replacement University of Dundee student can be found by you and is approved by the University, they may take over the tenancy. You will need to pay your rent until the replacement tenant has moved in.

Tenancy Agreement

TV licence

If you are bringing a TV to watch live TV, or if you receive or record live TV programmes on any other device, such as a laptop, you will need a TV Licence. You won鈥檛 be covered by your parents鈥� licence.

Our TV licences only cover the TVs that we provide, for example in common rooms and lounge areas.

From September 2016, you鈥檒l need a TV license to watch the BBC iPlayer.

The TV licensing authorities recognise that most students do not need the final three months of a TV licence as you leave the accommodation during the summer. You may be able to receive a refund for this period, provided that you don鈥檛 need your licence again before it expires.

If you do not have a TV Licence but you receive or record live TV you could face prosecution from the TV Licensing Authority.

Do you provide insurance

At 九色视频 we offer specialist insurance cover for all of our students through聽.

All of our accommodation is covered as Basic Cover.

Basic Cover Explained

Your possessions, desktop and laptop computer equipment are insured for theft, fire, flood, burst pipes, storm, vandalism, explosion and lightning. Cover applies within your accommodation, in any temporary residence and in transit at the beginning and end of each term.

Parking

On-site parking on the University campus is not available for students unless they have a disability and hold a blue badge. In addition, there is no parking available to guests and visitors.
